This artwork by Min Zhen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings auction, the work Man And Boy sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,876.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Min Zhen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bamboo And Orchid, which sold at auction in September 2012 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,335.41).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Min Zhen erzielte im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Man And Boy für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.876,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Min Zhen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bamboo And Orchid beobachtet, die im September 2012 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.335,41) versteigert wurde.
