This artwork by Min Xiwen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2007. In the Contemporary Chinese Art (Part I) auction, the work Young Lady At A Window sold for HKD 271,500.00 (€ 24,207.56) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. This high result makes Young Lady At A Window the most expensive artwork by Min Xiwen that we have observed at auctions so far.
