Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Still Life with Flowers and Fruits by Min Xiwen. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,110.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Min Xiwen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young Lady At A Window, which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 271,500.00 (€ 24,207.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers and Fruits von Min Xiwen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.110,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Min Xiwen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Young Lady At A Window beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für HKD 271.500,00 (€ 24.207,56) versteigert wurde.
