This artwork by Mimmo Rotella achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 22,950.00 (€ 26,110.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mimmo Rotella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,387,090.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 91 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mimmo Rotella erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 22.950,00 (€ 26.110,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Rotella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.082.500,00 (€ 1.387.090,08).
