Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Napoli 1990 by Mimmo Jodice was worth EUR 5,500.00 to a buyer in April 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,800.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mimmo Jodice - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Anamnesi, 2014, which sold at auction in November 2020 for EUR 18,750.00.
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Napoli 1990 von Mimmo Jodice war einem Käufer im April 2018 EUR 5.500,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Jodice mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Anamnesi, 2014 beobachtet, die im November 2020 für EUR 18.750,00 versteigert wurde.
