In April 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Photographs, which included the work Laguna veneta, dalla serie Isolario Mediterraneo 1997 by Mimmo Jodice. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,800.00 52% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mimmo Jodice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Anamnesi, 2014 in November 2020 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Laguna veneta, dalla serie Isolario Mediterraneo 1997 von Mimmo Jodice zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.800,00 und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mimmo Jodice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Anamnesi, 2014 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
