The result of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,770.25) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miloslava Vrbova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ballet dancers waiting in the wings, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,425.63).
