In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Five sheets of studies of garden birds: Blue tit, bullfinch, yellowhammer, goldfinch, chaffinch and great tit; Chaffinch, redpoll, goldfinch, siskin, greenfinch, and brantling; Redpoll, siskin and blue tit; Goldfinch, house martin, blue tit, chaffinc by Mildred E. Eldridge. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,036.24) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Mildred E. Eldridge have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2017 the work Hare, Drawn At Aberdaron, Gwynedd was auctioned for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,440.15).
