This artwork by Milan Kunc achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2017. In the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction, the work Czech tuscany - Secret Council sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,060.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Milan Kunc - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Psychedelic Afternoon, which sold at auction in December 2019 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,494.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Milan Kunc erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective wurde die Arbeit Czech tuscany - Secret Council für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.060,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Milan Kunc mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Psychedelic Afternoon beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.494,52) versteigert wurde.
