The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,950.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le déjeuner sur l'herbe is the most expensive artwork by Mikkel McAlinden that we have observed at auctions so far.
