A top price for Mikhail Markelovich Guzhavin - as previously expected
The work Gossip by Mikhail Markelovich Guzhavin was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,884.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gossip is the most expensive artwork by Mikhail Markelovich Guzhavin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Gossip von Mikhail Markelovich Guzhavin wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.884,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
