Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Volkhova by Mikhail Vrubel. The price achieved of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 151,072.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Mikhail Vrubel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work The Tsar Of The Sea was auctioned for GBP 229,250.00 (€ 285,635.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Volkhova von Mikhail Vrubel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 151.072,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Vrubel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit The Tsar Of The Sea für GBP 229.250,00 (€ 285.635,41) versteigert.
