Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Harvest time by Mijo Kovacic was sold in the Five Private Collections auction at Christies in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,016.00 (€ 2,407.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mijo Kovacic - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winterliche Dorfszene mit erlegtem Wildschwein, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 5,208.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Harvest time von Mijo Kovacic wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Five Private Collections bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.016,00 (€ 2.407,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mijo Kovacic mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winterliche Dorfszene mit erlegtem Wildschwein beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 5.208,00 versteigert wurde.
