In January 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work An Outdoor Scene With A Pool Of Water, A Basket And An Urn Filled With Carnations, Roses, Peonies, Lilies, Hydrangeas And Other Flowers by Miguel Parra. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 57,902.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
