This artwork by Michele Rocca achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2019. In the Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work The Temptation of Adam and Eve; and The Expulsion from Paradise sold for USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,581.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00.
