Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Squash, peaches, plums and grapes on a stone; and Grapes, peaches and apricots on the ground by Michele Pace del Campidoglio was sold in the Important Old Master Paintings Part II auction at Christies in New York in April 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 192,000.00 (€ 140,556.37). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michele Pace del Campidoglio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a black and white greyhound belonging to the Chigi family, standing in a mountainous landscape, which sold at auction in December 2019 for GBP 262,500.00 (€ 310,244.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Squash, peaches, plums and grapes on a stone; and Grapes, peaches and apricots on the ground von Michele Pace del Campidoglio wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Part II bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 192.000,00 (€ 140.556,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Michele Pace del Campidoglio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a black and white greyhound belonging to the Chigi family, standing in a mountainous landscape beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für GBP 262.500,00 (€ 310.244,28) versteigert wurde.
