This work of art by Michele Pace del Campidoglio could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Old Master Paintings Part II auction, the work A watermelon and a melon with peaches and plums in a landscape changed hands for USD 45,600.00 (€ 33,382.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00.
