Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A Seascape At Sunset; And Another Similar by Michele Federico was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 478.00 (€ 707.45). Admittedly, works by Michele Federico have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The coast off Capri in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 2,820.00 (€ 4,487.51).

Als die Arbeit A Seascape At Sunset; And Another Similar von Michele Federico im August 2004 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 478,00 (€ 707,45) den Besitzer.
