This artwork by Michelangelo Ricciolini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2007. In the Old Master and British Pictures and Old Master Drawings auction, the work The Deposition sold for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,622.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michelangelo Ricciolini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Daniel In The Lion'S Den, which sold at auction in February 2018 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,473.34).

In der Auktion Old Master and British Pictures and Old Master Drawings wurde die Arbeit The Deposition für GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.622,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Michelangelo Ricciolini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Daniel In The Lion'S Den beobachtet, die im Februar 2018 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 20.473,34) versteigert wurde.
