The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,416.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Michel Journiac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 24H De La Vie D'Une Femme, 1974 in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 39,900.00.

Die Arbeit Journiac : Hommage A Freud, Constat Critique D'Une Mythologie Travestie, 1972 von Michel Journiac wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.416,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michel Journiac auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 24H De La Vie D'Une Femme, 1974 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.900,00.
