Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michel Journiac could be acquired at Artcurial in Paris in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century Art 1950 to present auction, the work Icone - 1968 changed hands for EUR 2,840.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Journiac achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 24H De La Vie D'Une Femme, 1974 in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 39,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michel Journiac konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present wechselte die Arbeit Icone - 1968 für EUR 2.840,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Journiac erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 24H De La Vie D'Une Femme, 1974 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.900,00.
