In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Topographical Pictures, including China Trade Paintings. ARCTIC · AMERICAS · AFRICA · ASIA · AUSTRALASIA · ANTARCTICA, which included the work Port Of Spain, From The Sea by Michel Jean Cazabon. The auction ended at the price of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,071.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Jean Cazabon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saint-Pierre, Martinique, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 137,741.48).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.071,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00.
