Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 875.00 (€ 629.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Henry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life with flowers, which sold at auction in June 2016 for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,699.60).
