Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Costumes of Greek, Turkish and Albanian subjects by Michel-François Préault was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,441.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel-François Préault - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Traders at Pera, on the Bosphorus, which sold at auction in October 2010 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,044.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Costumes of Greek, Turkish and Albanian subjects von Michel-François Préault kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.441,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel-François Préault mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Traders at Pera, on the Bosphorus beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.044,44) versteigert wurde.
