Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Empress Maria-Anna of Austria (1803-1884), in red maroon off-the-shoulder dress with fichu, white elbow length gloves, drop pearl earring, elaborate plumed headdress and falling lace veil from her upswept curled hair by Michaelo Albanesi was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michaelo Albanesi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a lady, traditionally identified as Princess Maria Anna of Savoy, Empress of Austria (1803-1884) in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,674.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Empress Maria-Anna of Austria (1803-1884), in red maroon off-the-shoulder dress with fichu, white elbow length gloves, drop pearl earring, elaborate plumed headdress and falling lace veil from her upswept curled hair von Michaelo Albanesi für GBP 120,00 (€ 177,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE COLLECTION OF S.A.R.
