Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Michael Zansky for USD 125.00 (€ 101.50). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michael Zansky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study for Giants and Dwarves VI in July 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,125.00 (€ 913.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Zansky für USD 125,00 (€ 101,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Zansky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Study for Giants and Dwarves VI im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 913,52).
