A top price for Michael Zansky - as previously expected
The work Study for Giants and Dwarves VI by Michael Zansky was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,125.00 (€ 913.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Study for Giants and Dwarves VI is the most expensive artwork by Michael Zansky that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Study for Giants and Dwarves VI von Michael Zansky wurde im Juli 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 913,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
