This artwork by Michael Turner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in June last year. In the Vintage posters auction, the work Monaco 23E Grand Prix. 1965. sold for EUR 2,167.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Michael Turner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Monaco 25E Grand Prix. 1967 sold at auction in June last year with the realized price of EUR 2,805.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Turner erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Vintage posters wurde die Arbeit Monaco 23E Grand Prix. 1965. für EUR 2.167,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Michael Turner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Monaco 25E Grand Prix. 1967 im Juni letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.805,00.
