Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of Henry Lambert, seated by Michael Noakes for GBP 156.00 (€ 230.30). This price was achieved in the auction THE ROYAL & SUNALLIANCE COLLECTION at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Noakes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Frank Sinatra in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,546.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of Henry Lambert, seated von Michael Noakes für GBP 156,00 (€ 230,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE ROYAL & SUNALLIANCE COLLECTION bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Noakes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Frank Sinatra im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.546,79).
