Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Michael Lynne could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Country House Sale: Pomfret House and Tetworth Hall auction, the work The North Cotswold Hunt at Ebrington Hill, on the scent changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 755.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Lynne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The fox that got away!, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,115.88).
