This work without title by Michael Gross was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,086.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in December 2011 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 80,551.92).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Gross kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.086,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Gross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 80.551,92).
