In April 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Parts Of A World, #17 by Michael Gregory. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,724.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Michael Gregory have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Dark Eyes was auctioned for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,824.57).
