This work without title by Michael Goldberg was sold in the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 57,948.42). Admittedly, works by Michael Goldberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Park Avenue Façade in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 461,000.00 (€ 337,976.54).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Goldberg wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 57.948,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Goldberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Park Avenue Façade im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 461.000,00 (€ 337.976,54).
