In August 2020 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Still Life by Michael Goldberg. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,708.78), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Goldberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Park Avenue Façade in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 461,000.00 (€ 337,976.54).

Im August 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life von Michael Goldberg zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.708,78) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Goldberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Park Avenue Façade im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 461.000,00 (€ 337.976,54).
