Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Concert au Clair de Lune by Michael d'Aguilar for GBP 176.25 (€ 301.73). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michael d'Aguilar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work En Provence in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,586.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Concert au Clair de Lune von Michael d'Aguilar für GBP 176,25 (€ 301,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael d'Aguilar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit En Provence im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.586,66).
