Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Meuser was sold in the Open House auction at Christies in New York in July 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,100.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Meuser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Meuser wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion Open House bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.880,00 (€ 2.100,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Meuser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
