A top price for Meta Speier - as previously expected
The work Landscape with palm tree by Meta Speier was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in London in November 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,419.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape with palm tree is the most expensive artwork by Meta Speier that we have observed at auctions so far.
