Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The blue ribbon; and A furry friend by Meta Plückebaum was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Meta Plückebaum - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Furry Friends, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 6,250.00.

Die Arbeit The blue ribbon; and A furry friend von Meta Plückebaum wurde im September 2008 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Meta Plückebaum mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Furry Friends beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert wurde.
