This artwork by Mehl Lawson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2019. In the The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online auction, the work Two-Rein Doorknocker sold for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,318.22) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mehl Lawson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Range Doctor sold at auction in January this year with the realized price of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,583.35).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mehl Lawson erzielte im Februar 2019 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online wurde die Arbeit Two-Rein Doorknocker für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.318,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 700,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mehl Lawson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Range Doctor im Januar diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.583,35).
