Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mazen Rifai could be acquired at Bonhams in London in February last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Paysage Jaune changed hands for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,524.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Mazen Rifai have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May last year by the work Paysage at GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,649.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mazen Rifai konnte im Februar letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Paysage Jaune für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.524,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Mazen Rifai wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Paysage mit GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.649,91).
