Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dog Boy by Mayuka Yamamoto was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 243,200.00 (€ 29,150.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mayuka Yamamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Penguin Boy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dog Boy von Mayuka Yamamoto kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 243.200,00 (€ 29.150,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mayuka Yamamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Penguin Boy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70).
