Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Beat 3, Jesus Piece by Maya Munoz. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,533.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Maya Munoz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work Beat 3, Jesus Piece was auctioned for HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,673.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beat 3, Jesus Piece von Maya Munoz zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.533,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Maya Munoz konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit Beat 3, Jesus Piece für HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.673,07) versteigert.
