Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work The dance of the Fawn by Maximilian Lenz. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,015.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maximilian Lenz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Golden Cloak in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 159,200.00 (€ 233,884.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The dance of the Fawn von Maximilian Lenz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.015,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maximilian Lenz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Golden Cloak im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 159.200,00 (€ 233.884,92).
