Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Moreau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Place De Bab-Souïka Et La Mosquée Sidi Mahrez, Tunis im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.372,00.
