Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Max Liebermann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in April this year. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Landschaft (Noordwijk aan Zee) sold for GBP 14,025.00 (€ 15,983.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Liebermann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zwei Reiter Am Strand Nach Links (Two Riders On The Beach To The Left) in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,865,000.00 (€ 2,629,626.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Max Liebermann erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Landschaft (Noordwijk aan Zee) für GBP 14.025,00 (€ 15.983,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Liebermann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zwei Reiter Am Strand Nach Links (Two Riders On The Beach To The Left) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.865.000,00 (€ 2.629.626,59).
