Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paris, Le Pont-Neuf Et Le Square Du Vert-Galant , 1927 by Max Jacob was auctioned at Artcurial in June 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,598.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Max Jacob have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 18,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paris, Le Pont-Neuf Et Le Square Du Vert-Galant , 1927 von Max Jacob kam im Juni 2013 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.598,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Jacob auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.800,00.
