Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oysters and beer by Max Gaisser was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2006. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Gaisser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The merchant's treasures in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 25,850.00 (€ 44,185.04).

Die Arbeit Oysters and beer von Max Gaisser wurde im Oktober 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
