Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Up On The Roof by Max Ferguson. The price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,594.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Max Ferguson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2021 the work Underground Man was auctioned for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,145.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Up On The Roof von Max Ferguson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.594,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Max Ferguson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2021 die Arbeit Underground Man für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.145,02) versteigert.
