In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Art of the Soviet Union, which included the work Portrait Of Deineka And Nissky by Max Avadievich Birshtein. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,804.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00.
