Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Senza titolo by Mauro Staccioli was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,600.00 – 2,800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Mauro Staccioli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Punta Orizzontalecorten Steel. Executed In 2003. in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Senza titolo von Mauro Staccioli im Dezember 2013 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.600,00 – 2.800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.500,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mauro Staccioli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Punta Orizzontalecorten Steel. Executed In 2003. im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
